AnyDVD Discuss, DVD copying software and AnyDVD at Copy Movie forum; If I make a copy using Nero , or CloneDVD , and I have AnyDVD installed and running, will the copy be region free and copy protection free, or will it have all the attributes that the original one had? Thanks. FF

DVD copying software and AnyDVD

If I make a copy using Nero, or CloneDVD, and I have AnyDVD installed and running, will the copy be region free and copy protection free, or will it have all the attributes that the original one had? Thanks.

Follow up.

What I ment was, if you put the copied DVD into a stand alone DVD player for your TV, would the copy have the copy protections or would AnyDVD remove those when a DVD is copied?

AnyDVD removes the protecion and once burnt onto a dvd it will always be unprotected.

This is a great way of removing the region restrictions so that you can buy films from a different zone, de-zone them and play them on your local drive.
