DVD Burner Problems

I am using the MagicSpin DVD+- drive and have had some problems with it lately. I copyed around 40 movies then my burner has stopped working. I used dvdxcopy to copy the movies then after about 40 of them it stoped working. It gave me the same error about the drive not ready and if it would say it was ready it still wouldn't burn. Then I have recently upgraded my F/M to 15I and tryed using nero 6.0 to burn the dvd after I shrink it to the computer. I have used everything the same and havn't changed a thing and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions what could be wrong with my burner. Thanks
