AnyDVD Discuss, Dukes of Hazard Unrated at Copy Movie forum; DVD Player in the PC won't even read it, works fine on both of my standalone players. Curious if anyone else has any experience with this title.

Re: Dukes of Hazard Unrated

I made a backup today of The Region 1 Widescreen version using AnyDVD 5.6.1.1 & CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 with no problems at all.

Re: Dukes of Hazard Unrated

Backed up fine with Anydvd 5.6.1.1 and Dvd Shrink......
I agree wasn't much of a movie...
would have been a lil better with Cynthia Crawford as Daisy and Danny DeVito as Boss Hogg, Tom Wellings (Clark Kent) as Luke and Tim Allen as Cooter....Bo is still in the air.
I've rambled on enough.

Re: Dukes of Hazard Unrated

I have the same problem. I tried backing it up on 3 different computers and was unsuccessful. Looks like it's only on the Dukes of Hazard Unrated Full Screen Version. Where you able to find a way?

Re: Dukes of Hazard Unrated

Hello Folks,

*- Concerning a Commercial DVD Movie Title that fails to play in any DVD playback device -*

Now matter how crummy this Commercial DVD Movie Title is by law if any Commercial DVD Movie Titles has the DVD logo on the disk it is required to play on any DVD device that has the DVD logo on the playback device.

Suggest returning the Commercial DVD Movie Title and demand a free replacement or a total refund.

Best Regards,
bjkg

If that is the case, please send the IFOs to slysoft via email. In the subject put the region, the title, and the aspect ratio. Paste the AnyDVD info window information into the body of the email and attach the IFO files zipped up. This will greatly assist Slysoft in getting a new version out if it is indeed a new protection. At the very least they can confirm whether it's new or not. But, I have to go with bjkg on this one...it doesn't seem likely. It seems like a badly mastered disc. Considering how bad this movie is, I'd be willing to bet they farmed out the manufacturing of the physical disc to the cheapest Chinese company they could find. Hence you may find entire batches that are screwed up. This is not unheard of and has happened before.

Today is out "The Tulse Luper Suitcase" R2 with same problem. I think that is a protection because with all standalone players the dvd work perfectly instead with PC ancd PC media center you can see just vob of the menu and not all vob of the movie. Utilising just anydvd you obtain 64 mb of vob...

With anydvd + dvddecrypter file mode dvddecrypter crash but of you try more times you can extract all dvd (4,20 gb) but:

a) first vob of the movie is corrupted if you try to repair with VTSFix it decrease of dimension (i think that any cells are wahesd) and vob start but audio is desynched and video is more fast. If you open corrupted vob with VLC you can see 20 mins of black screen.

b) last of the vts point in a location of the dvd where theree are all unreadable sectors

I send via email the ifos obtained with anydvd + dvddecrypter but you need to know that just with anydvd is impossible extract all ifo/vob because are hidden...

Tnx for the support
