Discussion thread for AnyDVD 6.1.6.0

6.1.6.0 2007 06 01
- New (DVD): Support for new X-Protect protection, as found on
"Apocalypto" (R2, Germany)
- New ( HD DVD & Blu-ray): Support for new titles
- New (Blu-ray): Added signature fixing (e.g., Pirates 1&2)
- New: If AnyDVD hangs on exit, it will terminate itself after a
10 seconds timeout
- New: Because of popular demand, the "AnyDVD ripper" shortcut in the
start menu is back! Please note, that AnyDVD must be running for this
shortcut to work.
- Fix (DVD): Dummy titles on Arccos protected discs could cause a
Navigation Pack Error with CloneDVD or the AnyDVD ripper
- Fix (Blu-ray): Some files with non consecutive sections were not
decrypted correctly, e.g. "Deja Vu" (EUR-Germany) hung at the
layer break position when played back with PowerDVD
- Fix (HD DVD & Blu-ray): File sizes of files mapped with "Magic File
Replacement(tm)" and copied with AnyDVD HD ripper could be incorrect.
- Fix (HD DVD & Blu-ray): Multithreaded access to AACS decrypted files
could cause incorrect decryption
- Some minor fixes and improvements
- Updated languages

The update is free for all registered customers, of course.
Just install the new version on top of your current version,
regardless which version you have installed:

Re: Discussion thread for AnyDVD 6.1.6.0

I am trying to rip a dvd and I get an error it says: Navigation Pack 9 25200 23708 VOBU 4 0 16 Clone 6. I am using AnyDVD 6.1.6.0 but it happened with the older version too. I also tried CLONEDVD2 and get the same error. I can play the original DVD files on my computer but on some DVD's they skip from about 30 seconds in to 12 minutes or so... I am fairly new to this and have tried ifoedit, vobedit, I have reripped the suspect disk with ripit4me and decoded it with DVD Decoder and burned it back to a new DVD and it still has the same problem. On a DVD that can record the DVD plays back fine... any direction in trying to fix this?

Sounds like your drive to me. Try it in another DVDRW drive or try some different media.

Re: Discussion thread for AnyDVD 6.1.6.0

Though I have indicated it a number of times, still can not help mentioning it again:

In the Hungarian version there are some minor mistakes (misspellings) and part of the text appears in English.

Not a big deal, but let the software be perfect even in this respect.
