Re: creep

what versions of these programs are you using?

where do you get an error (reading, encoding, etc.)

what exactly happens that you "can't rip"?

Is there an error message? If so, post it here.

What Region, Country, and Version of Creep are you trying to rip? (ex Creep R1 US Widescreen)

What model drive do you have and what firmware is installed?

Re: creep

you didn't mention in the original post that you were using dvd shrink. are you using anydvd with it? what version of anydvd are you using?

is there an error essage when it stops at 50%? what happens?

if you're using shrink alone there are some copy protections that it can't handle. anydvd should be able to take care of it unless it's some brand new protection that we haven't come across yet. In order to determine what the issue is though I need the info I asked for. We can't help if you don't tell us anything. What happens when it stops would be especially helpful. Does your comp freeze, does it reboot itself, do you get an error message, does your computer throw itself out a window?

Re: creep

ok, post your anydvd info window so we can see what's on this bad boy.

(sorry for the delay...i was at work for the morning)

unless there's a whole batch of bad disks, it's strange that you got a cyclic redundancy error in the same spot on both discs. even if the disc is new, try cleaning it thoroughly with a soft cloth or try it in a different drive. Some drives are better readers than others.

once you post the anydvd info window, we'll go from there.
