Re: Copy Problems, drive disabled

Thought I'd send an update once I downloaded the new betas.

I updated to beta 6.1.1.1 per James' instructions. I was thrilled when I able to backup two DVDs, just like before. However, on the 3rd DVD (Boondocks Season 1, Disc 1), I started having the same problem. Again, I am using 1ClickDVD/AnyDVD, Memorex 4.7G DVD+r media (I already know about the media, I just using up the remaining discs). The DVD "apparently" burned successful (no errors), however, the copy of the playable on PC or DVD player. The original is stilled recognized by AnyDVD.

Here's where it gets even stranger. I then updated to 6.1.1.2 beta, thinking that might fix it. This time, after 1ClickDVD ripped, compressed and it asked for DVD+R media. I inserted the blank DVD, and it gave me an error, "volume name does not match Boondocks_Seas1_disc (I can't remember the exact volume name), and would not accept a blank DVD. I then tried it with American Dad (Disc 1), and same thing. I didn't receive the "disabled drive" message when inserted the copy, just "insert a disc" message, indicatinh that DVD is not a valid format apparently (which makes sense, since it was not playable)

So, I went back to DVDFab Decrypter and Shrinkit 3.2, and I was able to backup both DVDs.

It's a complete mystery to me. 2 Successful copies, then it started not working again. Just as a test, I ripped the DVD with DVDFab Decrypter (after exiting from AnyDVD obviously), and burned to DVD from the harddrive with 1ClickDVD instead of Shrinkit, and again it worked

Somehow, the ripping/decryption process is not working properly, even though I getting all the normal messages in AnyDVD when inserted the original DVD and previously successfully burned DVDs, and AnyDVD appears to working in background as usual, but somehow, when burning the DVD with 1ClickDVD (and I never disable AnyDVD during the process) does not work. It also does not have a problem recognizing DVDs burned with Shrinkit 3.2

I am completely lost, not sure what to do. Unfortunately, I to go back to DVDFab Decrypter to rip the DVDs until I figure this out.

After unintalling 6.1.0.7 (when the problem original started), should I done something extra to completely uninstall and start with a new build on 6.1.1.1? I requested and was sent a my keycode, so I can completely uninstall. Also, should I perform sometype of register cleaner?
