Stefonte -

AnyDVD does not make backup copies of DVDs. You have to use some undisclosed DVD Copying software program in conjunction with AnyDVD.

What indications lead you to believe your problem is cause by AnyDVD and not the undisclosed DVD Copying software program you used?

For a newbee I would suggest that you use ANYDVD to decrypt the origional and use DVD Shrink ( free) to encode and copy a DVD. All subsequent copies will be unencrypted and your computer will read them. More copies than can be made with Shrink. Currently using Nero 6.6 which Shrink defaults to. You should not have any problems after this. Good luck.

I saw a disc once where no DVD burner would see it but it would play in any DVD player and ROM drive. Somehow the session had not been closed. You might use CDSpeed to see if this might be the problem, and as above, it is not related to AnyDVD.

I have been using shrink and decrypter for years along with PCGedit. If I copy my dvds using the long drawn out way (decrypter, PCG, etc) then the DVD can be read by the computer. This problem only occurs when I use anydvd along with shrink and nero.

Thanks

What discs do you use? How fast are you burning them? What is your DVD burner?

Look for the conflect between your Anydvd & DVDShrink try to uninstall both then reinstall first Anydvd and DvdShrink second and try that see if the problem goes away.
