| Certain movies won't work I tried to copy a movie and it said that it will still CSS encrypted. This is what it said in AnyDVD (I removed the DVD name): Summary for drive D: (AnyDVD 6.0.7.0) Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!) Media is a Data DVD. Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite) Size of first Layer: 1901328 sectors (3713 MBytes) Total size: 3802644 sectors (7427 MBytes) Video DVD (or CD) label: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Media is CSS protected! Video Standard: NTSC Media is locked to region(s): 1! RCE protection not found. DVD structure appears to be correct. Structural copy protection not found. Changed firstplay: Jump directly to TitleMenu! Autorun not found on Video DVD. Bad sector protection not found. Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1! |

| Re: Certain movies won't work GTLubinsky - In seeing that you have a Dell Computer you are lucky that it actually works without catching on Fire ! Setting CD/DVD ROM ‘Region Code’ is like setting the Operating System ‘Time Zone’, ‘Regional Options’ or ‘Daylight Savings Time’ options. Computer Manufactures do not set Operating System ‘Time Zone’, ‘Regional Options’, ‘Daylight Savings Time’, or CD/DVD ROM ‘Region Code’. That is something that they expect the Owner to take care of. | Re: Certain movies won't work Ok, so I changed the region the other day and it worked. Now it says that the region on my drive is not set; however, when I go to the drive settings... it is set to region 1. AnyDVD is not recognizing that the region is set. Any ideas? |

| Re: Certain movies won't work Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!) Have anydvd off and set the region then use anydvd. To do this put in a commercial dvd and let it play for a minute to get the drive region set.
