Cant Determine Region - Club CDFreaks

i got a dvd in a chinese mall and i can put it in my dvd player cabled to my tv and it works fine, but it wont go at all on my computer. when i put the disc it the drive makes a repetitive whirring noise like its trying to read the disc but it cant. it never manages to recoginize that the disc is in it. i tried using AnyDVD on every region setting and it didnt help any. if anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate the help.

Unlikely it has anything to do with the discs region. My guess: Defective mastering, your DVD player managed to play it, your DVD rom probably not.
