I have read all the threads on the Derailed issue. I still cant backup my copy for Derailed. I have used (1) Vob Blanker 1.6.0.4 (2) Clone DVD2 2.8.5.1 with andydvd 4.5.7.2 (3) Dvd Fab 2.9.7.3 (4) Dvd Shrink 3.2.0.15 (5) DVD cloner III version 3.0. All failed at about 40-60% into the backup. HELP !!!

CloneDVD and AnyDVD will make your backup for you. Tru was probably going to blast you for using old software, but decided to be polite. The copy protection industry does not stand still for you. I guess you took a long lunch!

On CloneDVD, you are 7 months and 3 versions behind in updates.

On AnyDVD, You are 13 months and 19 versions behind in updates.

as has already been suggested, use up to date software and you'll be fine.

I have a purchased copy of Derailed: Unrated Widescreen Edition and I am having the same problem. I tried using AnyDVD v. 5.9.6.3 to rip as well as DVD Fab Decrypter v 2.9.7.7 and Dvd Shrink v 3.2. None have worked. Please help

when you say "none have worked" what hasn't worked? do you get an error message? does it play but with errors? does the dvd self destruct?

They all say something like Data error: Cyclic redundancy check

I tried cleaning it but no dice.
