| Cannot Read DVD at ALL? Some DVD's won't read on my PC at all!  I also tried them on another PC. AnyDVD (version 5.4.1.1) reports that there is no disc in the drive (4KUS External 16x). The strange thing is, if I put the same discs into my Home theatre at home, it works perfectly! DVD Region+CSS Free (version 5.9.3.2) does exactly the same. The DVDs that does not work is: Lilo & Stitch 2 Urban Ledgends - Bloody Mary Any ideas? Thank you. Henk |

| Re: Cannot Read DVD at ALL? i've noticed that too...but not on any particular movie....not sure of the reason....could it be because of the media.....???......some computers and dvd players don't like certain brands of media....also i've noticed that if i rip with anydvd and clonedvd and make the files an iso...i sometimes run into this problem...but if i use the above combination and make files and let it burn from there i don't have this problem...... |

| Re: Cannot Read DVD at ALL? Nope doesn't work: AnyDvD, DVDSchrink, DVD Decriptor, DVD Region+CSS free, nothing works. I can't even get a directory on the disk at all? So I can't send AnyDVD the IFO files. Some sort of new copy protection? |

| Re: Cannot Read DVD at ALL? Lilo & Stitch 2 Urban Ledgends - Bloody Mary NO problem. Anydvd 5.3.2.1 CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 Region 1 LG GSA 4160B (firmwear 303) on PRINCO 4X on a win 98SE PC. Panasonic Stand alone player. (OLD PLAYER.. 5 disk) Preview with CLONEDVD on pc and POWERDVD. Both original and backups play on BOTH. Never have tried the ISO.. still new to this.. not sure what that is all about. |

| Re: Cannot Read DVD at ALL? The DVD player is new (6 months old). I also tried it on a AOpen DUW16080/ARR as well as a AOpen DRW8800/APP and none of them want to read the disk at all. My home theatre system (Sony) plays the disk without any problems. Henk |

| Re: Cannot Read DVD at ALL? I had the same problem on my HP Lite-on DVD burner. It got to the point where it wouldn't read any DVD I went to Compusa and they said it went bad so I just bought a new one. Works great! Haven't actually tried the DVDs you are talking about though. Could be just progressively going bad. |
