I am very much messed up with Spiderman, Batman, and Superman, after watching many episods of them 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Now, I don't know which is which, I mixed them up all togther, some parts don't remember if it was spiderman, batman or superman. |

Well I just did the full disc with AnyDVD 6.1.9.3 and Shrink and Imgburn, so it can't have that much protections in Region 1 , plays and looks great. Funny thing though, I did a full Dvd Rip & used ImgBurn in Build Mode to burn to a Memorex 8X Dvd+R DL RITEK-S04-66 & had no problems whatsoever. Tried an ISO Rip then ImgBurn to burn the MDS file to the same blank media, coaster #1, tried again, coaster #2. Created an ISO from the ISO Rip through Dvd Shrink, movie only, 5.1, burned with ImgBurn to a SL Verbatim MCC-004, no problem. I am a third of the way in to these Memorex DLs & not had a problem before this. Now I know it could be the media & it could be back to back coasters but it just seemed strange. I will be using ImgBurn in build mode later on & I will burn the result to one of these DL blanks & see what happens.

I still think by checking the burn logs, that with the write errors being in two different areas, that it was the media, but there is a little thought in my head that something is wrong with the MDS file, but as I was successful with my first rip & then using ImgBurn in build mode, I am not pursuing that further. While I totally agree that Verbatim MIS is the most consistant DL media, they are getting harder to find & the 10x20 pack spindles that I have will run out, so if I don't try different media (when it's available at a reasonable price), to see if there is anything out there, I will be screwed as far as DL media goes. I have not given up on this Memorex RITEK-S04 & I will post links to show why. The other brand that has caught my attention lately is Philips CMC-MAG-D04-00. This link is the full Dvd rip, using ImgBurn in build mode, the blank right before the coasters burnt @8X, this link is the blank right after the coasters burnt @4X.
