AnyDVD Discuss, bug: Anydvd 6.1.1.3 is dectecting Flux protection where none exists at Copy Movie forum; V for Vendetta R1 is being detected by Anydvd 6.1.1.3 as having Flux protection on it. Media is a Data DVD. Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite) Size of first Layer: 1885888 sectors (3683 MBytes) Total size: 3771763 sectors (7366 MBytes) Video DVD (or CD)

bug: Anydvd 6.1.1.3 is dectecting Flux protection where none exists

V for Vendetta R1 is being detected by Anydvd 6.1.1.3 as having Flux protection on it.



Media is a Data DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 1885888 sectors (3683 MBytes)
Total size: 3771763 sectors (7366 MBytes)

Video DVD (or CD) label: V_FOR_VENDETTA
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!

RCE protection not found.
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Found & removed fluxDVD protection!
Found & removed bogus title set!
Changed firstplay: Jump directly to TitleMenu!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Found & removed 1 bad sector protections!
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

Yes, had the same problem on the first two dvd's I put in after updatiing. Because of it, several titles don't show up in clonedvd2. Had to go back to 6.1.0.7.

I wonder
do updates while addressing current protection, somewhow weken detection of prior old protection schemes?
As I recall, this title never had this problem before

Usually not, but this is a bug. Bugs do happen. Maybe the new UDF 2.5 parser. That's why I have posted betas. If people don't try the betas... why do I post them in the first place?
Anyway, the temporary solution should be (again) to disable removal of copy protection based on unreadable sectors.

protection was incorrectly detected
