Having trouble backup copy of BRICK.
I am using anydvd 6045 and clondvd2 2899. Any dvd comes up with the following:

Summary for drive F: (AnyDVD 6.0.4.5)
Drive (Hardware) Region: 1

Media is a Data DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 1979472 sectors (3866 MBytes)
Total size: 3916460 sectors (7649 MBytes)

Video DVD (or CD) label: BRICK
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!

RCE protection not found.
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Found & removed invalid VOBUs!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

clonedvd gives me a read error. I tried unchecking in anydvd, copy protection based on unreadable sectors. That didn't work either. There are no marks on the dvd. The dvd is new.

I am using a dru810a to read the dvd.

Re: Brick

You could try ripit4me there is alot of praise on it and it is free. If that fails I'd return it for another copy due to a bad manufactuers press.

Re: Brick

Have you tried ripping the video_ts folder to the hard drive using the ripper included in AnyDVD? It rips and corrects errors if they are present.
