Best Other Option For Novice?

I've been using DVDShrink combined with DVD Decrypter for a couple of years now and will continue to do so until Decrypter fails to work. Since I'm not all that technically inclined I was able to set it up (with help) so that Shrink first shrank my movie and made an ISO file then automatically opened Decrypter, ready to burn my backup and I guess in turn it decrypted the ISO. I'm not all that smart with this stuff but I liked the idea of being able to Re-author in Shrink and or knock out some of the audio options to save space and lesson compression. The thing I liked best about about this combo (besides being free) was once it was set up it was so easy to use and rarely failed me, the thing I liked least was it seemed to take awhile to do it's thing.

I've read where Ollie has said you can make a couple changes in Decrypter and then you would still be able to use with AnyDVD running in the background if you wanted. I assume you would still have to use DVDShrink before Decrypter although I guess I don't know if you could link them together as before?

Anyway is there ONE program (I'm willing to pay) that would do everything Shrink and Decrypter has done for me in the past that foremost is very easy to setup and use, faster than the former, updated all the time and very importantly safe from being shutdown by Macrovision or whoever? Thanks!

@ mccoady,

AnyDVD- CloneDVD combination is simple to use and provides excellent results. SlySoft has a “Try Before You Buy” policy that allows you to use the software for 21 days. Suggest visiting SlySoft (http://www.slysoft.com) and download the latest versions and give the AnyDVD-CloneDVD combination and try.

The below posting provides information on how to configure DVD Decrypter-AnyDVD. Posting comments #5,#8,#14,and #16 provides the information you are looking for.
