AnyDVD Discuss, Baby Looney Tunes Vol. 1 Won't Back-Up at Copy Movie forum; I'm using AnyDVD 5.9.5.8 and this won't back-up. In fact, upon placing the DVD in either of my drives, I get the "Warning, Failed to Read DVD! This could have several reasons, etc. etc." This is the 2nd time I've tried

Baby Looney Tunes Vol. 1 Won't Back-Up

I'm using AnyDVD 5.9.5.8 and this won't back-up. In fact, upon placing the DVD in either of my drives, I get the "Warning, Failed to Read DVD! This could have several reasons, etc. etc." This is the 2nd time I've tried this DVD (I tried a different original last time), so I know that it isn't the disc. Some of the files will read, but it always errors at the same sector on both DVDs in the 1_2.vob file.

Summary for drive F: (AnyDVD 5.9.5.8)
Drive (Hardware) Region: 1

Media is a Data DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 1
Total size: 1191689 sectors (2327 MBytes)

Video DVD (or CD) label: BABY_LOONEY_TUNES_VOLUME_1
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1 2 3 4!

Found & removed RCE protection!
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Found & removed bogus title set!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Found & removed 1 bad sector protections!
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

I'm thinking that there's some new protection on this one. Any thoughts?

Re: Baby Looney Tunes Vol. 1 Won't Back-Up

1.The latest version of Anydvd is 5.9.5.9. I suggest updating your version.

2. Have you actually tried backing the disc up and ignoring that error message?

3. What does the error message say exactly?

If after updating to Anydvd 5.9.5.9 and trying to backup the disc (ignore the error message if you get it), you still have problems, you may want to consider sending the IFOs to Slysoft.
