AnyDVD Discuss, Anyone able to copy Hard Candy? at Copy Movie forum; Windows says the video_ts directory is empty. CloneDVD also complains that the video_ts directory doesn't have a video_ts.ifo in it. AnyDVD doesn't complain about the dvd but won't rip it also because there's no files to rip. But I put it in the dvd player

Anyone able to copy Hard Candy?

Windows says the video_ts directory is empty. CloneDVD also complains that the video_ts directory doesn't have a video_ts.ifo in it. AnyDVD doesn't complain about the dvd but won't rip it also because there's no files to rip.
But I put it in the dvd player and off it goes. (IE plays the movie fine).

Sorry I didn't dump the anydvd status info, I'll do that later this afternoon.

Just wonder if anyone else has tried to copy this movie.

Thanks

Re: Anyone able to copy Hard Candy?

I'd try DVDFab Decrypter (free version) or another free app. Maybe RipIt4Me/FixVTS with DVD Decrypter. Just to see if they work.

I've been having trouble with the last few AnyDVD releases and have it temporarily unloaded while I have been testing the above mentioned freeware. I've had good results with the stand-alone apps, so may not be in a hurry to reload the AnyDVD memory-resident driver. These apps can load, run, and close and have no effect on any other apps I run. AnyDVD is always sitting there in memory and does as of late seem to have some issues. When I unload it, the conflicts seem to go away.
