AnyDVD Ripper

Using AnyDVD Ripper 6.0.1.1 on a backup to my Hard Drive of Glory Road. Had a problem with it when using DVD Rebuild 1.0.93/CCE 2.70. Kept getting an error. I tryed VOBBlanker to no avail. I copied it with Explorer to the hard drive and then used VOBBlanker and DVD Rebuilder/CCE worked fine. Any ideas if I did something wrong using AnyDVD Ripper or would copying with Explorer be the way to go.

Thanks

Re: AnyDVD Ripper

copying to the hard drive with explorer & anydvd running is fine, you could give clonedvd a try to see if it backs it up.
it could be a problem with dvd rebuild, but i'm not sure, as i don't use it

If the disc has recent Sony protection then leave the AnyDVD to work in the background and ripp with DVD Shrink to your HD and burn with Nero otherwise just use DVD Shrink for ripping, encoding and shrinking to HD then Nero for burning.

Yep, this is my setup exactly and I have had zero problems so far. Every DVD I've tried to backup has worked and the backup is of great quality and smooth, I tried other combinations, but that trio seems to work best for my setup....

Using an LG GSA-H10A DVD Burner....

Re: AnyDVD Ripper

I don't think you need to us rebuilder for just the movie, I backup Glory Road 100% with AnyDVD/ CloneDVD. If you want all the extras, I use AnyDVD/CloneDVD in the DL setting to copy to the HD, then Rebuilder w/HC or Quenc, works fine.
