anydvd message - Club CDFreaks

this is my 1st time trying to burn a dvd. so be nice.
i downloaded the guide and followed it to the letter.
the version of anydvd is 3.2.1.1 this is the message when i put in a dvd to start.

set display frequency
failed to set display to 72hz

how do i fix this

It seems like your DVD software is trying to play the movie when you insert the disc and is having problems. Try turning off Autorun and see if that helps. You may want to check the online help of your default DVD app as well.

well checked all the settings and online help. but still i'm getting the message- failed to set display to 72hz
but i noticed that this only happens with a dvd-9 and not with a dvd-5 movie.

just uncheck the run external program on media change option...

The error is because your monitor or graphics card desn't support a 72Hz refresh rate...
