| Re: AnyDVD for Linux? There is no problem to play DVDs in Linux, with programs like Totem, Kaffeine ( both powered by Xine engine) Mplayer, VLC, etc... The problem appear when try to RIP newest encrypted DVDs, there isn't programs capable to do this. Now is IMPOSSIBLE in Linux and we need programs like ANY DVD, for decrypt the newest protections. |

As it would be quite simple to build a fuse (Filesystem in Userspace) module to mount a dvd and decrypt/de-protect on-the-fly.
