They are and they are pushing it way hard. However if ( that little big word again) they wanted to push it harder they could stop security patches for XP OS's then you're really pushed forward.

Why would you need AnyDVD "Vista"? It should be AnyDVD "Vista 64." It should run just fine on Vista, provided you're logged in as an admin.

It's all about how Microsoft is abusing its power.

I don't know if others remember how Microsoft changed some of the core functions inside the Visual Basic language - like the results that Xor produced. It freaking broke your code! You either had to reprogram it or leave it in the older format. ARGH!!! Who changes a programming instruction that has been standard for over a decade???

I developed some hardcare Access database stuff back in the early days of 1.0 and 2.0, and suddeny updates come out and those apps no longer run properly! What is up with that???

Either I had to purchase an expensive developer app to make the Access apps into stand-alone EXE's, or recode the whole darn thing - HOPING to find where the changes needed to be made!

Microsoft is flat out evil. I swear. And I'm thinking this VISTA thing is NOT Slysoft's or anyone elses fault - it is Microsoft being a jerk and treating its customers and vendors like lambs being led to the slaughter.

Where I work , we did not have a choice, they upgraded automatically last week.

That is what they did with Windows 2000 Pro even - which is a perfectly good OS in its own right.

They have even done that with XP already - either you install SP2 or you are screwed - no more security updates for XP or XP SP1. If that isn't arbitrary, I don't know what is. Scumbags.

It seems fine to me. The icons are changed alot, the HD Icons have a little bar on the bottom showing how much free space you have left. Its pretty cool. Lookie here:

Yea I played with the betas and the rc's too and there is a lot to relearn. That will come easy though just living and learning.

I only have 2 myself. I'll be glad when it goes retail as being a student I'll get vista ultimate for around 20.00 USD and office pro 2007 for 200.00 USD. Can't beat that well unless you get yours for free( Legally ).
