| Re: AnyDvD and game copy? Briefly, regular DVD players/burners CAN NOT read xbox games. The usual way of copying an Xbox CD/DVD is to FTP to the (hard or soft modded) Xbox's D: Drive and copy the contents to your PC's hard drive. From there you use one of several programs such as Qwix101 to make an ISO image then burn it. Qwix also has a built in FTP feature so it is an all-in-one program (except for burning). There is also a Nero burn setting nrc file that you can use to burn UDF CD/DVD's that can also be read on a PC - If you burn an ISO image using Qwix or whatever you will not be able to read the DVD on your PC. While there is no real copy protection scheme for the Xbox CD/DVD's other than the disks not being readable on a regular PC drive, there are some games that may be difficult - but not impossible - to back up. There are also certain linitations on CD/DVD backup media/booktyping depending on which Xbox drive you have. I've heard that PS and PS2 games are readable by the PC's drive, and are pretty easily backed up - however you need a modded PS to read them. Game cube I heard is done similar to Xbox - except you somehow use a (old, unavailable) PSO online game, modem and hack to back up the game - not sure on this one though. You need to check out the forums at www.xbox-scene.com for complete details on everything you need to know. |

| PS2 Backups Quote:
Done nearly all mine now and not had a single problem The PS2 does need to be chipped, (DMS4, Matirx or Ghost 2 are all good) or you can use swap disk but this doesnt play all backups. | |
