AnyDVD 6.4.0.3 Beta Discussion thread

6.4.0.3 2008 03 26
- New (Blu-ray): Added support for new version of BD+ as found on
"Hitman", Region A, US
- New (DVD): Added support for a new type of structural protection as
found on "Reservation Road", R1, US (untested, awaiting feedback)
- New (DVD): Added support for a new type of structural protection as
found on "Der Perfekte Sex", R2, Germany
- New (DVD): AnyDVD ripper can now be started multiple times
- New: Settings can be changed while rip is in progress.
Setting changes will be ignored for drives currently ripping.
- New (Setup): AnyDVD can now be installed without a reboot (2000/XP/Vista)
- Fix (Blu-ray): Small visible glitches (1-2 frames per movie) on BD+
protected discs
- Fix (DVD): AnyDVD ripper didn't handle some discs properly under Vista

SamuriHL is correct, it works great with the LG GGW-H10N, I know its the older model, the H20 is out now but it still works great.

I think at some point in the near future I may decide to grab me a GGW-H20L and give this BD writing a try. I'll pick up a couple BD-RE's and see how it goes. The drive is down to 300 bucks now which is a great deal considering that's what I paid for my GGC drive a few months ago. I'll hold onto that for when I rebuild my bedroom HTPC. We'll see, though, as I REALLY want to replace my TV in the bedroom so that may take precedence over all else.

In any case, yes, this version of AnyDVD seems to be the best so far.
