New feature to create the directory is nice. One step further in the automation would be to have a default Movie directory and automatically create sub directories from the volume title of the DVD. Would this be possilbe? I know, I know, I am being incredibley lazy . Thanks for a great product!

I'm having issues with the last few releases concering stability and conflicts with other apps. I just went back to an earlier version and it seems fine.

Plus, I've been messing with RipIt4Me and even DVDFab Decrypter and both have been working well enough, and they are free, so perhaps they might be worth a look.

As it is, since you get free lifetime upgrades with AnyDVD, users can probably afford to be patient with this stretch of tweaks and patches until they get it stable and finalized again.

I'm having problems installing the new update, it keeps telling me it can't write certain .dll files. Any help?

Ok nevermind, it worked on the 6th try, but now it won't recognize my dvd burner/player. I went into drive select and selected, then un-selected it but to no avail. Any ideas?

turn off all SS programs prior to update
install and the re-boot

My GUESS would be that this is the Edge-9 protection mentioned in the Hoodwinked thread. Sounds pretty nasty, actually. Let's hope we don't see it in other regions...not that AnyDVD wouldn't take care of it anyway, but, still.

I wish something as bad as that came to R4. We get nothing here! Just once I want to see AnyDVDs info window to be clogged up with protection schemes.

Its called core x2. I've heard it would be quite similar to edge 9.

I am having problems with the newest release Anydvd 6.0.7.0. While running the set up, it saids, " Error opening file for writing: "C:\Program Files\Slysoft\Anydvd\anydialog.dll". If I try to run the previous release's setup, I still get some kind of .dll error message, so now I'm pretty much screwd. Any help/advice ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

I would uninstall it and goto slysoft's website and redownload and install it. Of course before doing this you'll want to clean up your PC from all temp files and temp. internet files plus cookies as well before going and downloading.

That's weird I'm on MSN all day chatting while using this software and it doesn't do this to me.

Are you using a cracked AnyDVD version? Cracked versions have the habit of shutting themselves down after a while...

I have been using MSN Messinger since its inception. I use it everyday and it has no conflicts with AnyDVD, this version or any version. I think you should look else where.

Dunno about the msn deal but mine shuts itself down before the movie is completed. Not running in the processes either but the movie completes. 3 different ones at that. Go figure!

The protection mechanism is been carried out at the beginning of the movie and before the actual movie start after that no protection removal is required therefore AnyDVd could shut itself off.
