You were right!
Not very often at all.

I'm sure I can/will get used to it, but I would rather not have to. AnyDVD is a good enough program to not have to add gimmicky, cosmetic changes to software when there is a new version, but I digress.

But I seriously think there is going to be more features added soon. I mean, look at all that space.

the 3 SS progs are so important for me that if they screwed up I would re-install os in a heartbeat
I use acronis true image and a complete basic re-instal with most updates and MS progs only takes about 5 minutes (less than 3gb size), and I keep serial backups which are a bit bigger and max 10 mins to restore
you may want to make a note of that

Thanks for your thoughts. I was being facetious when I mentioned reinstalling my os. I'm guessing there was some glitch in the registry that prevented AnyDVD from accepting the reg key until I'd totally eradicated the previous version, including all instances in the registry. Slysoft was outstanding in responding to my emails!

Like you, I find Acronis TrueImage as indispensible as Slysoft's products. It's by far the best backup solution I've ever seen. It's saved me hours of grief, especially with poorly written proggies that mess everything up when you try to uninstall them. I usually back up my boot partition drive with os and programs to an external Maxtor 300G at least once a week. And to play it safe, every month or so I compress the backup even tighter and burn it to optical media. Never too cautious...

I'm afraid I have to agree with some of the others: I'm not a fan of the new interface. In all other ways I'm a huge fan of the app. The thing is, I just don't see what was wrong with the old interface. It seemed just as intuitive to me, if not moreso. I also think the tabs were more visually attractive than those little red squares... maybe its the red squares that bug me... i don't know...

so how do we change to the blue skin like? slysoft should be able to have your option to download skins or make your own
btw i put it to always remeber me so i dont have to sign in but it does not remember me , i dont delete cookies or temporaly internet files so what gives?
