Try this link:
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD5951.zip

Edit: Spoke too soon! The password is not "ripper" as it was with the previous release. Boo.

Re: AnyDVD 5.9.5.1

if it's password protected, are we meant to be posting it all over the place?

I think if slysoft wanted this version released or needed more testers, they'd say so.

i also think that if you've downloaded this version, make sure you you re-download the official release when it comes up on the slysoft site. there can always be tweaks and changes made in between posting the 2 versions!

unless of course the beta page has been posted on here before and i just don't remember it. if that's the case then ignore me.

Re: AnyDVD 5.9.5.1

Well there has been a beta posted previously - In this post
http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.ph...00&postcount=1

I got the address by changing 00 in the link given (on that post) to 51. Obviously this wouldn't work if it wasn't there. I have not however installed this version as I agree with reasons that when it's done and we should use it, we'll all hear about it from Slysoft themselves.

As for the bruteforcing of the password...there's plenty of software out there to do that such as AZPR but I didn't suggest it when I edited my original post as I wasn't sure it was a smart thing to be doing. Personal opinion obviously.

Re: AnyDVD 5.9.5.1

Two different changelogs? No referrence to "Thuy Nga - Nua Doi Huong Phan" found on IMDb? The use of the word "bogus" by a professional company? Hacking the beta site?

If it looks like a fish and it smells like a fish ... I'm gonna wait for the pork! Our friend Macrovision3500 has started some other fishy threads in the past.

in the last 3 years (~71 revisions) the word "bogus" has not been used in an anydvd changelog.

Re: AnyDVD 5.9.5.1

Could be that the person in charge of writing changelogs is away or has been replaced, or it could be that the person who writes them has decided to try out a few new words. I dont see what you have to worry about if it is from the official slysoft site.

that part of my post was a joke.

it is NOT posted on the official slysoft site. that's the problem. if it were an official release, we all would have received update notifications and it would be posted on www.slysoft.com

this program was hacked off of a beta page, and until slysoft clears it, i don't recommend downloading it. sure, it's most likely just the early stage or a tester for a new official release that will be available soon, but who knows what kind of bugs they may still need to work out...

besides, i find that there's something fundamentally wrong with having to brute force hack a password to obtain a program. (Especially when a company is so good to us!) James has posted unreleased versions on here before so we can play and work things out. My guess is they'll release it when they're ready.

It is posted on their " Static site " but I would wait until they release it to the public, reasonrules is right, if James wanted it here, it would be posted, just wait until they release it, whats the rush, its not like the present version isn't working.
