Why don't you try it out your self? Insert the original DVD, play it on your computer and see what happens.

stupid question: let me get this straight, so AnyDVD is basically a ripper as well as a decrypter now, since version 5.9.1.1? if it ripped in ISO mode as well, i wouldnt need to use DVD Decrypter anymore.

No, as i see it its not really a ripper. This to me is just a very nice gesture by Slysoft that they have added to allow us to use DVDshrink still.

I would just leave it at that instead of pestering Slysoft to make additional features to the ripper they have included.

(that does sound a bit double dutch but it makes sense to me somehow).

If I enable the jump to the menu feature, does it effect backups in anyway? I use DVD-RB or CloneDVD mostly for backups. Just wondering if its a quick way to cut all the crap out. Does it simply hide anything before the menu?

Yes. Play the original DVD on your PC to see the effect.
