@ scojospo,

Welcome to the Forum.

A place to start looking for an AnyDVD- CloneDVD Tutorial would be in the uniquely named Guides and Tutorials Forum (http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72).

Below is Forum link to the AnyDVD-CloneDVD user tutorial, which provides detail information on the use of the AnyDVD-CloneDVD software programs.

Re: Any DVD Free Trial Download

all right, all right, I know it sounded like a ridiculously simple question, but my eyes are crossing from looking at this screen and I thank you both for your guidance. I tried it and successfully burned image to my hard drive, but I think I need to get some different dvd+rw; my program is asking for a DVD 9 disc, and I bought these things so long ago that they apparently are not correct. (I was planning on getting a burner a long time ago, never did.....)
Hopefully when I get the correct discs they will burn with no problem. Again, thanks!

Before you replace your discs, try downloading CloneDVD2 (get it from Slysoft.com) and learn how to use it. You can copy most movies to a DVD-5 if you eliminate the extras.

Nope, trial version keeps sound and everything. This is the exact complete version but with an 21 days expiration period on it. Verify that you are not removing ALL the sound in the audio settings. Click whatever (from the availables in the disc) language you prefer.

I use 1 Click software, and Any DVD, with 2 BenQ burners with great success. To Stan, who has so many questions. I think the people at Any DVD have better things to do, than to spend 2 hours answering your involved questions for your $30. Your tripping.

this is extremely rude. Answering every little question is EXACTLY what they should be doing for a paying customer. it's called customer service (which slysoft is IMPECCABLE at)

also, it's not like slysoft is monitoring this board 24/7 answering every little question. cdfreaks members are happy to help out when we can.

when I pay money for software, I'll be damn sure no one is going to tell me I shouldn't be asking questions about it.

While some questions might seem elementary to those of us who are knowledgeable about these types of things, others are just starting out. you started somewhere too.

also, the posts you're referencing are almost a year old...

Greetings Bernd,

I gave you no less than three tries to answer a couple of questions I had. You avoided the questions each time telling me to try the software the first time, try the software before I comment on its abilities the second time (effectively the same answer) and the third time you told me exactly what I told you in my message to you, AVOIDING AGAIN answering my direct questions and telling me you don't have any control over CloneDVD (effectively washing your hands of any responsibility for it). I can only imagine the fun you must have playing ping pong with your customers between you (AnyDVD) and Elaborate (cloneDVD) when problems arise. Do I really want to take a chance on that kind of support? No fuc*king way thank you... I support and purchase IBM Mainframes for a living and have enough fun with them without having to take it up the, well you know where, from developers like yourself who have no time to talk with customers who you obviously think have no idea what they are talking about let alone asking.

Congratulation, you just blew a sale and any future business. I can't imagine how anyone puts up with your kind of support. It truly sucks.

Have a nice life and hope no one ever asks me what I think about AnyDVD and its support...

Hello Stan,

We offer free lifetime upgrades for AnyDVD and CloneCD. Once
you have bought a license for these programs you get all
updates of the respective program for free.

CloneDVD is limited to one year free updates. After this
period you'll have to buy a new license in order to be able
to update further.
CloneDVD is not our program, it is made by Elaborate Bytes
(http://elby.ch). Therefore we have no influence on the
license terms of this program.

Best regards

Do what I did - Buy them from Elby and AnyDVD separately for lifetime Support and updates of BOTH progs (AFTER you have paid for the software)
Why should they spend time on anyone who has yet to pay for their product.

Re: Any DVD Free Trial Download

How to send in IFO's

1.) DISABLE AnyDVD (little fox on the taskbar should be grey).
2.) Navigate to the VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD.
3.) Copy all files ending with .IFO to your harddisk. ONLY those with .IFO, not the big .VOB files!
4.) ENABLE AnyDVD again (just in case, so you don't forget it)
5.) ZIP the .IFO files to one file. Name it with a cool filename (e.g., Little_Black_Book_UK.zip)
6.) Write a an email to support(at)slysoft.com (replace (at) with @). Name your problem, try to identify the disc (e.g, Little Black Book, R2, UK), the UPC number if possible (below the barcode on the package). The information output of AnyDVD can be helpful as well.
7.) They like if you include the AnyDVD version and your AnyDVD serial number in this mail. You find this information in the Settings Window -> About.
8.) Attach ZIP file with the IFOs and send it.

If you like, you can send this mail to bugs(at)elby.ch as well, so I can have a look at these .IFOs as well.

I don't think we can help you with this comment. It's against the law to backup movies that you don't own.

Re: Any DVD Free Trial Download

Not sure about the 3 stars that you're talking about but anydvd is 40.00 USD. If that's too much and I told you what you get then you can try ripit4me which is free but you ripit then burn it. Where anydvd just runs and does it's job without the steps it's auto pilot does this while you use your favorite burning software.
