This was recently working fine on pc.Then upgraded to vista and went from norton system works to norton 360.Didn"t care for vista so did dest. recovery and went back to xp media center,but now still stuck with norton 360.Any dvd is turned on in msconfig.I can still run mouse over fox in tray icon & see if disk is being seen by any dvd,but the new balloon tip that pops up and says any dvd is scanning disk,etc stopped working ??Could it possibly be the new version of NAVcausing this ?It is driving me nuts trying to fix.Just installed latest versiuon tonight.Any help would be deeply appreciated.

You have to clean uninstall AnyDVD reboot and install the latest version, may be that works. Also, remember by going to VISTA then coming back to XP you still have lots of VISTA command remained in your registry that could give your trouble along the way.

Well when I went back to xp media center I did a destructive recovery.But I will uninstall and try a clean install.Thanks.

I am just hoping that don"t have to wait till next recovery to get any dvd going right.

Just wondering can the ballon scanning tip cause your computer not to shutdown properly? I gave the new program a try and after turning it on I couldn't shutoff my computer - so I did a hard shutdown? I will reghost my computer from a working image again but that is something I just noticed. With the balloon scanning tip off restarting was fine but I have to play around some more and see what if Anydvd had to do with the shutdown problem.
