Asus / Pioneer Burner Discuss, Do Pioneer drives 'Learn'?? at CD and DVD Burners forum; I've heard people mention, an Eprom learning, or 'wiping the eprom and reinstalling it', I thought only drives with Solid Burn learned?? Could someone explain this to me?

Do Pioneer drives 'Learn'??

I've heard people mention, an Eprom learning, or 'wiping the eprom and reinstalling it', I thought only drives with Solid Burn learned?? Could someone explain this to me?

Liteon drives do have a learn media function too.
I think Pioneer drives don´t learn. I didn´t see anything that points to that when more DVDs of the same MID are burnt.

LiteOns sure do ...not sure about Pioneer, I haven't read anything on here that suggests they do.

Bought optical drives from AOpen, HP, LiteOn, NEC, Philips, Pioneer, Plextor, Ricoh, Samsung, Sanyo, Toshiba and Yamaha.

Does that mean that my sony DRX-800UL would get a bit better if I burnt a 25 pack of T02 media? (im not going to, Im just asking)
