Asus / Pioneer Burner Discuss, Crosflasshing Pioneer DVR-115D for bitsetting? at CD and DVD Burners forum; I have a DVR-112D (great burner!) and successfully used TBD's wonderful efforts to crossflash it first to ver. 8.06 and then 8.21 -- works like a charm, all my burns with DVD+Rs come out as DVD-ROMs perfectly. I'm tempted to get a DVR-115D

Crosflasshing Pioneer DVR-115D for bitsetting?

I'm tempted to get a DVR-115D but am wondering if there's any similar working bitsetting firmware hacks for this unit yet?

Nope, until someone gets a hold of the firmware, there is no bitsetting support for +R at the moment.

Thanks for the quick response! My initial search didn't turn anything up either, but 'freaks often have a way of getting advanced scoops...

I'll stick with my new 112-D as it seems to be the best burner I currently own -- super-fast ripping and great burns with even sub-par media.
