Burning always Fails

Hello. I am new to the forum.

I have a Pioneer DVR-105 DVD Writer. When i try to burn a CD, it burns it all way to the end (%100) but at the end it gives an error and fails. I reinstalled nero, tried different programs such as deep burner, changed the ide cables, unplugged my other cd drives. but nothing helped. i even updated the firmware.

I have nero 6.6.0.16 installed in my system. My firmware (v1.33 i guess) is up to date. i close all other applications. But it always fails. I wasted at least 10 cd's since last night. Please help me.

Here are my spesisications:

Amd Athlon XP 2000
Msi KT4AV Mainboard
512 Mb Twinmos Memory
80 GB Samsung HDD

And here is the errors log file that nero created:

Re: Burning always Fails

Probably this could help: http://www.nero.com/en/Tutorials_Exp...ta_CD_DVD.html

If you want to use the Princos, you should try to lower the burning speed.
However, it's inferior media.

Re: Burning always Fails

Yes I used to have a DVR-105 a couple years back and it was fairly picky about CD-R media...CMC used to cause me problems. It's actually the media issue that started me down this path with my optical recording analysis frenzy. ;-)
