Buffer went berserk

Just received an order of the TYG01 that were on sale. I began making a backup of one of my movies using the “read” and “write” option on DVD Decrypter. When writing the image, the “buffer” and “device buffer” in DVD Decrypter went absolutely nuts. I'm using a Pioneer 106D with hacked firmware 1.07 from http://pioneerdvd.rpc1.org/ My burning speed would jump erratically from 1.8x to 4.1x, back and forth.

I have never had this problem before so I’m not sure if it’s my drive, media or outdated firmware. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I checked the movie and it plays without flaws.

Re: Buffer went berserk

Some other application (antivirus perhaps or some trojan) may use the processor or memory while writing the disc.
