| Re: Asus 1814 BLT FW 1.13 failed Solution: The Driveletter of my Asus was "Z:" I´ve changed it to the first possible Letter after my HD´s (F: ). Then the Update was working. So it´s definetly a bug in the flasher.

This time the problem is related to Pioneer IDE CD... With Pioneer 112L on IDE cable I get "Get Drive Modelname error" I have removed this drive from the IDE controller (JMICRON) and the upgrade worked ! The STRANGE things : 1) The Pioneer drive is IDE and the Asus burner is the SATA version 2) I have tried ( for fun ) to leave as master only on the IDE cable :- LG H44N - Optiarc 5170 - Benq 1670 and the Asus firmware upgrade always worked | |
