Asus / Pioneer Burner Discuss, Asus 1604P question!!!! at CD and DVD Burners forum; Hey!! i`m new to the forum!! i wanted to ask you a question because i read some stuff on the internet and i wanted to make sure about some stuff Is it possible with the asus 1604p to set the bitsetting when burning a dual layer disk??? i think

Is it possible with the asus 1604p to set the bitsetting when burning a dual layer disk???
i think that it`s not possible by default, but probably there`s some firmware to allow this??? thanks!!!

The 1604p is a rebadged Pioneer burner and cannot even burn DUAL LAYER, because Dual Layer is DVD-R DL.
It can burn DVD+R DL *Double Layer* at max 4x. This is autobitset to booktype dvd-rom.

is it possible to change the bitsetting for those dvdr+ double layer???? thanks!!

It is AUTO bitset , you don't have to change anything yourself.
