From Asus 0804p to Pioneer 107d and back

It's been some time since i flashed my Asus to a Pioneer. It works well but i'm having compability issues with my other dvd drive. A large number of dvd's written on the Asus aren't readable on the otherone. This works both ways.
I'm thinking that coming back to it's original firmware might change this, but in order to do so I think I need a second file, not just the firmware( xxx.121? xxKB - i need, R7123107.121<-this is the firmware) but I can't find it.

Just hoping you can help me in getting this file.

Find the appropriate kernel in one of the packages here (start with 1.21) : http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1794
Then use both files with DVRFlash and the -f (force) option to crossflash.

Links to the firmware don't work, tried that already. Thanks tho.

For all those in my situation: FIRMWARE v.112 + KERNEL + DVRFlash for 0804p

Yep, .tAIwAN is no more.

They've changed adds and links.

Well, my problem is that dvd-r burned with Asus 0804P can't be read with Pioneer 110D. It happened with 2 dvd-r so far.
The DVD-R are MCC Verbatim 8x. The firmware is up to date, v.1.22.
Does anybody know something about it ?

Greetings
Gonzalo

Which fw is on the ASUS?

Have you tried accessing the discs using Isobuster and CD speed?
