| new problem- can not burn: nec 3500 external yesterday all of a sudden i lost the ability to burn. using ATi DVD-R 4.7Gb dvds. dvd's burned fine till yesterday. using dvd shrink and nero, and as a backup, dvd decrypter. when the burn phase starts, the software stops, and i get error messages. (two attached- dvd decrypter and log2.) uninstalled and reinstalled all rip and burning sorftware. still nothing. i reflashed the nec, (v2.18) nothing. reset booktype to dvd -r. still nothing. latest burn attempt of reinstalled nero shows from the file attached "june 5.txt" please help, i am needing detailed assistance. am not too smart about this... thanks in advance, robert

| Re: new problem- can not burn: nec 3500 external haven't tried +r discs. have been using dvd-r since i got nec 3500 last december. this is a first of this type problem. research suggests it is the blank dvd disc. robert

| Re: new problem- can not burn: nec 3500 external tested easy dvd shrink a premium software, and i was able to burn to a dvd-r from a video TS folder. my problem seems to be a software problem. please help. robert
