I don't know much about burners but I purchased this drive about a month ago, and I've burned about 15 dvd movies successfuly so far after backing up my dvds with dvd shrink and using Roxio Easy Media Creator Basic DVD Home which came with my drive from Newegg...

Well starting yesterday, I've burned 8 coasters in a row and they all fail at 92% Disc Progress with an error that reads "Logical unit not ready" [02/3A/08]. I tried burning at 4x, 8x, 12x, and 16x and the results are always the same

The media I am using is Fujifilm 8x DVD+R and da media code is YUDEN00T... i also tried burning with some junky Teon 8x DVD+R I had around but those failed at like 30% with no error message...

The first 15 burns or so were just fine and all of a sudden, it just stopped working... I don't know much about computers so I was wondering if somebody could help point me in the right direction... Thanks.

Try to burn with your nec on another computer, if the result is the same, go to the shop and order a replacement.
I have this drive and I had no problems, so far, I have also put in my drive a modified firmware Mad Dog 1.F3

Not by any chance running Nvidia IDE controller driver?

Could it also be the IAA(intel Application Accelerator)?

If you have not changed anything in your computer (hardware or software), there are only two options: bad media or drive failure. You can test the first by trying another media, but not junk. Don't forget, media quality can change halfway tru a spindle, although it is rare to see it as consistently as in your case. The second, as has been suggested before, by plugging the drive into another pc.
