| Latest firmware for optiarc dvdrw ad-7640A Hi all firmware gurus, i have a optiarc dvdrw ad-7640A from the lenovo 3000 Y410 notebook that i owned, currently this dvdrw performance is really bad, it is real slow in reading discs and gives out very loud whirring sound. So i was hoping that a newer firmware will fix all these, wanna ask where can i get the latest firmware for optiarc dvdrw ad-7640A? I checked out liggy's site for optiarc dvdrw firmware but couldn't find any that matches my model? Is there any firmware which is compatible to it? Appreciate the help, thanks!  |

| Re: Latest firmware for optiarc dvdrw ad-7640A I got this drive in my Dell laptop too! It has the firmware version JD02 but am looking for the latest one, i think it's JD05. The drive phails to record my Phillips DVD+R 8.5GB 8x DL Discs, i think they were Riteks, thats a real shame, i hope the latest firmware fixes that. |
