| Re: cdfreaks presents NEC ND-2500A review. Try Herries firmwares for it. His latest seems to burn most of my media fine as his earlier version also did. Once I used his firmware I was able to burn almost any media with acceptble to great quality. I reinstalled mine just to do crappy media at 8x as my newer drives will not burn all the cheap media this one will at 8. |

| Re: cdfreaks presents NEC ND-2500A review. damn, i thought this thread was all but dead! a blast from the past. well, at the time the review was written the 2500a was a great drive (and still is). using herrie's firmware i am able to burn verbatim 8x dvd-r disks very nicely. most other disks tend to lose their quality towards the outer part of the disks, but verbatims are very good. have you tried them? their dvd+r disks are top notch too. |
