Exclamation Subtitles ALWAYS Show Up When I Insert Backup DVD :(

Hi all I am making a backup copy of a movie. I am using AnyDVD 6.0.7 something and Nero Recode (nero version 7 something) Ok now this is my issue I select copy main movie only and I leave the subtitle for english showing. Now when I insert my backup the subtitles are ON by default. Normally you turn on subtitles in the menus. Is this a flaw?

Suppose I was to NOT copy subtitles would that auto-ON not show up?

Re: Subtitles ALWAYS Show Up When I Insert Backup DVD :(

That's a lot of "somethings".

But, Recode should not be forcing subs on (I don't even think that's an option in Recode). It sounds like your player has defaulted to "subs on". I always include english subs and I do not have this problem.

Of course, if you do not include the sub in the first place, then it cannot force it on!

Recode does not force display of any subtitles.
But some DVD players can be set up to automatically show subtitles (e.g. Grundig GDP 1100).

...but this is also happening to me as well on two players. I use recode2 in Nero 6.
