Which standalone DVD Player is able to play Nero Digital content ?? - Club CDFreaks

Could a expert please tell us which standalone (living-room) DVD Player will be able to play a burned DVD made with Nero Digital Recode 2 ?

According to a preview published on this site on december the 24 th , as you can see at:

" Nero Digital will also be available for Consumer Electronics (CE) which means that CE manufacturers are able to license Nero Digital to use it in their products. An example of this could be a DVD player that plays Nero Digital content, just like a DivX Certified device.

The only information I could fine about which DVD Playerplays what is to be found at :

http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers

and so far they say nothing about tne new Nero Digital video codec (probably because this codec is too new)

any mpeg 4 capable player *should* be able to play these files,
such as the KISS/Revoy players and alike, nero digital is a mpeg4 codec just like divx or xvid is, however I am not sure about AAC audio.

Look at this Link http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....t=nero+digital , there is a Tutorial HOW TO Convert "Nero Digital" MP4 to the AVI File Format.

Test it and report errors with Standalone Players.

On Desktop PC's it can be played with ffdshow, Nero Recode 2 installed or Quicktime.

It does not funktion to playback the movies with XViD 1.0 beta 3 oder DIVX 5.0.5 .

Maybe they are not Mpeg4 ISO standard !?!
