did my first recode to cd all went well and i have my mp4 file now only thing is in the recode folder it says its 681 mb's and when i try to burn the file in the vcd mode it says 714 mb's to large to fit on a cd i dont want to recode again thats 2 more hours is there away to burn this file... Thanks

With my Plextor burner it is possible to overburn up to 99 minutes (870 MB) with a 80 or a 99 minutes CD-R disc
by settting this overburning option in NERO 6

Some Plextor drives only go up to 94.55 minutes (like the PX-W4824A) but this should be sufficient to burn your 714 MB file.

I was just thinking about a other problem:
after burning your 714 MB file on a CD is it possible to play the burned Cd on your standalone DVD player and which one ?

- especially if you have used overburning to a 90 or 99 minutes CD-R
- or even used GIGAREC recording with the Plextor Premium CD writer

did a overburn all went well. Ive got a JVC Progressive scan home player and a 50 inch rear projection tv and it plays on mine the movie is not that bad. dvd are so cheap i dont really see the point but i must say looks pretty good 5 gigs to 700 mb.Id like to check out the 5.1 when it come out.anybody no when?Thanks for the overburn info.forgot i had gigarec ...
