| Recode hangs opening DVD I just recently started backing up my Family Guy DVDs, since they get a good deal of wear and tear around here. I'm doing the R4 'Season 4' set. The first 2 discs were dual layer, but only contained 3.8GB of data in total. They went through fine and play back as expected. The third disc, however, is 6.6GB so it needed to be shrunk. When I attempted to open the disc in Nero Recode 2.3.7.0, it went through the Analyzing phase but then it hung, so I tried restarting Recode and opening the disc again. It skipped the analyze this time but hung again anyway. I ended up using DVD Shrink instead, which worked perfectly. Has anybody else had problems like this? Is there a fix? |
