ok, surely all of you know the recodes first screen, where to choose what to do.
since nero 7.0.5.4 nothing happens if i click on one of them!
the only option that seems to work is the nerodigital option (the second last)
but then on the import title screen recode don't shows any titles only the dir's video_ts and audio_ts, which are empty.

in nero 7.0.1.4 all works fine (uninstalled it with nero clean tool) - but nero digital doesn't work - displays huge estimated filesizes (much bigger than original files) and by clicking on next nero recode crashes.

after this i downgraded to 6.6.1.4 - there nero digital options also doesn't work - nero says i should by the new version!

is there a working version of nero recode? need bothe dvd recode and nero digital option

Same problem here - I do not know why this happens. I also reinstalled Nero 7.0.5.4 several times now. Now i am back to 7.0.1.4
I think we have to wait for the next Version?

I'd say this might have something to do with you perhaps having not obtained your copy legitimately. From the nero site "Nero Recode 2

System requirements:

Microsoft© DirektX 9.0b or later

Optional:

DVD-Video plug-in* to enable DVD recoding, and DVD-9 to DVD-5 feature.


* DVD-Video plug-in is already included in retail version."

Perhaps whatever serial you have does not include this plugin.

I have the latest versions of Nero & Recode (7.0.5.4) and do not have these problems.

Not to point fingers, but I have heard "Bad" serials will not enable all functions of the products. Not pointing fingers but just FYI.

Thanks for your hints - but i own a legal copy of Nero. I will contact Nero-support for this now.

The option that works will be the one that does not require the DVD plugin. This is supplised as a seperate serial in certain circumstances. Make sure you have both registered in Nero Startsmart, as without the DVD Video plugin you cannot make DVD Videos hence the button's don't work. If you don't have the right key contact nero to ask them why.

I see a lot of people have this problem. Nothing to do with bad serial or bug in Nero
If you have problem with Nero DVD Recode or Nero Vision handling DVDs, reinstalling Nero will not help and it’s not needed anyway.
Starting from Nero 7.0.5.4 to enable this functions you have to open Nero Smart Start then go to Nero Product Center and enter serial number for Multi Channel Plug-in.

How do you differentiate the Multi Channel Serial? Is the serial the same as the main serial?

It's different serial. You need both. Any keygen for Nero 7 will generate serial for MultiChannel Plug-in.

Thant would be theft & and is not condoned here. If he does not have multichannel support, and needs it, he will have to purchase the plugin seperately.
