Not for me.
You can do the same thing using Dvdshrink, which is free.
Recodes a litle faster than shrink, but not $59 faster, imho.

Re: Is Nero Recode worth $59.00?

Regularly check Buy.com, SurplusComputers.com and Techbargains.com

They currently have some discounted Nero products (after rebates and some promotions require a similar product for an upgrade rebate). My point is that there is a lot of competition and special pricing. I use Nero Ultra and often upgrade at little or no charge after rebate.

You are in a Nero forum and I'm simply alerting you that you don't need to pay street prices.

You can buy a Norwood Micro drive from CompUSA right now (which is either a BenQ 1640 or 1650 rebadge) for a final price of 19.99 after rebate. The OEM version of Nero included with these drives, has Recode 2, and you get a great drive as well.
Better hurry though, sale ends 12/16.

Chaching! - stick with Shrink. Deep Analysis and Quality Enhancement mode = a bit slower, but great quality, and it is 100% FREE
