OS: Windows XP
Writer: A-Open Writer (4X DVD+R DL)
Disc: Memerex DVD+R DL
Settings: Maxium burn speed, high quality, target size set to DVD-9

This is ticking me off. I get a "write error" shortly after the status reads "burning layer 2." This happened twice in a row. Each time it was at 52% of completion of the disc. Original files were on my secondary hard drive the first time and on the primary hard drive the second time. Every other program turned off, even screensaver and power saver. What gives?
