Nero AVC does not work on PSP. HELP!!

hi all!

i'm new here and would like a bit of your expert opinion in this regard.

i have nero recode 2 se. now i know i can encode MP4 ASP using the nero "psp digital profile". but the question is how come i cannot encode workable AVC MP4 using the other avc profiles and setting the resolution to 320x240 ? the 320x240 resolution is used in the psp digital profile also. this is just beyond me... experimented over the entire weekend with both widescreen and fullscreen but every AVC MP4 gave me "unsupported data" error. if "PSP Video 9" can encode avc and if the resolution is correct, the audio bitrate is correct and psp supports avc then how come the nero encoded AVC does not work on psp? any suggestions would be much much appreciated. Also will there be psp avc support on nero 7 Ultra Edition?

Re: Nero AVC does not work on PSP. HELP!!

Maybe it has to do with the current firmware on the PSP, who knows?

I just converted a xviD movie to AVC portable and I'm impressed about the quality using just half the size of the original. The bad side is that eg. Zoomplayer cannot play it properly, I have to use Showtime....

Re: Nero AVC does not work on PSP. HELP!!

I had contacted Nero's Support.

The Sony AVC PSP Profile is currently not supported .

I personally think it will included in Nero 7 or the next "monthly" fix.

Re: Nero AVC does not work on PSP. HELP!!

Probably to do with the frame rate required. PSP needs to be 29.97 or something like that. I can't see where to change the frame rate in recode and thus other profiles are probably using 25fps as standard and thus not compatable.
