help with plextor 708A and recode 2 - Club CDFreaks

when i write a dvd with nero recode 2 the burn fails after 80%. i have plextor 708A firmware 1.04 and nero 6.30+nero vision express 2 with recode. the log file says :

Sorry I didn't read your entire string but I too have a Plextor 708A and also had the same problem. I used the nero tools and noticed my DMA was turned OFF. I went into contol panel and system info and turned my DMA on and that seemed to have worked because it burned completely.

try upgrading to FW 1.08. 1.04 is several versions old.

BUSS New on Forum Join Date: Jan 2005 Posts: 1	Re: help with plextor 708A and recode 2 Sorry I didn't read your entire string but I too have a Plextor 708A and also had the same problem. I used the nero tools and noticed my DMA was turned OFF. I went into contol panel and system info and turned my DMA on and that seemed to have worked because it burned completely. Hope it works for you. BUSS
