|  Dolby digital Hey i was wondering if anyone knew hot to make a dvd using nero recode or nero vission and how to get it in dolby digital 5.1 i keep burning dvds but never comes out in dolby digital and i have the ac3 2.0 what would i have to do??????  and if someone know how can you please tell me |

| Re: Dolby digital as i understand, nero recode uses the new AAC audio codec thats part of the MPEG-4 standard. if your source is 5.1, you should be able to select 5.1 audio in the audio settings section of recode. do you have any particular reason to want to use dolby digital? |

| Re: Dolby digital Are you recoding to NeroDigital or to DVD? If you recode to NeroDigital, the newer AAC codec will be used (instead of Dolby Digital AC3). You cannot use AC3 in a NeroDigital file (not part of the MPEG-4 standard, I guess). If you recode to a DVD, it's the exact opposite, and you should get Dolby Digital out of it. Works for me. What exactly happens anyway? "never comes out in dolby digital"? I don't think you gave enough info to be able to help you. |
